Ho Home Stars hold Tarkwa Gold Stars to a draw

By GNA
Cape Coast, Dec. 16, GNA- Skipper Peter Amenope of Ho Home Stars came to the rescue of his side when he scored a beautiful goal in the 83rd minute to enable his side to draw 1-1 with Tarkwa Gold stars in their Middle League match played at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium on Tuesday.
After a goalless first half, Gold Stars determined to carry the day resumed the second half with vigour and managed to break the deadlock when they earned a spot kick in the 78th minute and inside right Samuel Agyeman made no mistake to register the opener. Just as the game was coasting to an end, Home Stars hit back for a consolation when they earned corner kick from which Amenope's timely connection sailed straight into the net for the much-needed equaliser for Home Stars.
